OR Magazine is an award-winning ePublication meant for viewing via iBooks. Originally catered to iPad optimization, 2017 was the first year the publication explored making our issue accessible on multiple platforms.

As Photo Editor of the 2017 issue, Resistance, I was responsible for overseeing a team of photographers through the process of ideation to publication, producing headshots for the staff page, as well as editing photos for each story.

As a photographer, I contributed to stories following local library closures (Closed Doors; Open Questions), and the timber in industry on the land of the Umpqua Tribe (Protection & Industrialization). 

Closed Doors; Open Questions was a National Winner in the 2017 SPJ Mark of Excellence Awards for Best Use of Multimedia. In addition, three of our stories took home Gold Circle Awards in 2017 from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
